I was having a cup of tea and a biscuitthe other day with my neighbour and I discovered that she has never ever made her own chocolate chip cookies. She didn’t believe me when I told her how simple they were, soI decided to blog my recipe just to prove it.
I make these cookies ALL THE TIME. They make a huge big batch, at least 40 cookies, take no time at all and are cheap as chips. They also freeze perfectly too.
AlthoughI have used my thermomixto make mine, they are so simple that you really don’t need one at all. Any kind of electric beater will do the trick.

Me too, it makes whipping up a batch even quicker. Sometimes I make them before school, so they’re super fresh in the lunch box x

Printing!! I started drooling when I read the magic words ‘condensed milk.” Haven’t made anything but Anzac cookies for months – time for a change! Thank you.

Ooh and I haven’t made anzac’s for ages, we can swap!! The condense milk makes them really smooth. Yummy xx

I make choc chip cookies very often but usually with my Kitchenaid. I haven’t given them a go in the thermo. Might try it though! I love the smell of baking cookies in the house!

I have’t used my kitchenaid in years. I still can’t bring myself to get rid of it though – too pretty 🙂

Hi! I came across your blog while googling for thermomix recipes. I just started using my thermie (long overdue! it was a house warming gift by my mother given last year!)
This recipe looks so easy! I will definitely give it a try! Looking forward to trying all your recipes!~

I’m about to make these now and wondering if you double the batch in the thermie or mix two seperate batches x

Got a hot cross buns batch in now. Added sultanas, cinnamon & all spice to the mix.

Any suggestions for condensed milk substitutions? Or can i just leave out altogether? Want to make biscuits without a trip to the shop!! 😜

Make some condensed milk in your thermie with milk powder – recipes on the internet!

I tried doubling the recipe today and Thermomix struggled, wouldn’t recommend or do that again. Haven’t tried them yet but they smell great…. Am sure my Master 7 will love them

I make these all of the time, double the mixture everyone lives them.

Can you tell me if the finished product is chewy, crunchy or ’cake like’. I’ve made cookies before with condensed milk and they are ‘cake like’. Soft but not chewy.
